General Sales:

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be accepted or given.

Layaway Sales:

Layaway sales are defined as a sale in which either full payment or delivery is not made immediately at the time of sale and are governed by the “Layaway Terms” and “Cancellation of Layaway” policies defined herein.

Layaway Terms:

Active Layaway accounts require minimum monthly payments, of or no less than 5% of the total purchase price. Your furniture will be available to you in the month indicated on the invoice, and upon full payment of the purchase price. Failure to make regular monthly payments as outlined in this agreement may result in a “Cancellation of Layaway” and all deposits shall be governed by the “Cancellation of Layaway” policy defined herein.

Cancellation of Layaways

The following terms shall govern all cancellations of all layaways. Customers may apply 100% of deposits on layaways towards the purchase of other merchandise. In the alternative, a customer may elect to receive a refund of 50% of the total amount of payments made up to that point; the remaining 50% shall be applied towards Morgan Furniture’s cost of maintaining the layaway. All customer cancellations must be done in writing. Layaway refunds will be issued within 5 days of receipt of cancellation notice.

Special Orders:

We cannot accept changes or cancellations of special orders. Customer acknowledges that they understand that special orders can take 10-12 weeks to be received from the factory and sometimes longer (your salesperson may indicate an estimated time frame as to when special orders might arrive, understand this is an estimate based on our past experience and should not be relied upon as an exact delivery date).

Assembled Furniture Charges

Once assembly has begun on your furniture no refunds or exchanges will be given, further no exchanges will be made on assembled furniture.

Warranties:

Merchandise discounted more than 39% of the List price is sold AS-IS. Some manufacturers may offer extended warranties and Morgan Furniture will make every reasonable effort to assist you with any claims. Merchandise sold at regular prices has a Limited Warranty (please see store display for Limited Warranty details).

Removal of Old Furniture

At the request of the customer, Morgan Furniture may remove furniture from the customer’s home. Customer acknowledges that removal of old furniture is done at your liability. Morgan Furniture accepts no liability for damage done during furniture removal.

Delivery Charges:

• Customer acknowledges that he/she has been advised that he/she should remain home on the scheduled delivery date. If for some reason you are not there on the date or time of delivery, there will be an additional charge of $25.00 for each additional trip to deliver the furniture.
